construction hubs
for suppliers and manufacturers
for manufacturing or supplying companies; if you are a building or construction company, click here
Your clients, the building industry faces several challenges related to emissions and city access.
Emissions Regulations, Access Restrictions in Urban Areas, Waste Management, Energy Use in Construction, Material Sourcing and Sustainability & Public and Regulatory Pressure.
The total industry, meaning the full supply chain, including manufacturers and suppliers, must stay ahead of these trends to remain competitive and compliant.
Addressing these challenges requires the building industry to innovate, invest in sustainable technologies, and adapt to a rapidly changing regulatory landscape.
Using a Q-construction Hub will tackle most of the environmental challenges while bringing the costs down by optimising and minimising transport movements and using (where possible) emission free vehicles.
bring down your costs
by reducing your logistic costs.
the cost of your product is not only the purchase price or production cost...
Once your product is purchased or manufactured, it still needs to reach the client. Depending on the nature of the product, this can be costly and potentially reduce your margins or render the product price uncompetitive. This is particularly crucial in the competitive building materials industry, where margins are thin.
Efficient logistics can make you the preferred choice for customers, not only through competitive pricing but also by meeting new environmental standards that require specific transportation methods.
warehousing
Warehousing surplus product ensures on the upside:
you can maintain the most efficient production process and/or meet potential peak demand from your customers.
On the downside, it is costly, consumes expensive space, and ties up working capital in unsold products.
transport
Depending on the product features, transporting it to your clients can be costly.
On the upside, you may have negotiated a favourable rate with your transportation company or have your own transport fleet.
On the downside, transportation costs are optimised when shipping full truckloads on the shortest routes. However, your logistics partner likely gave you an average price since your demand is not the most efficient for them.
delivery
Delivery to your client needs to be fast and reliable, and might require extra services such as delivery into an Emission-Free Zone or even repacking and assembly.
Your clients' delivery demands can vary. While it may seem like your transport is optimized, in reality, it is not. Clients often do not require full truckloads, and your facilities may not be equipped to optimise shipment costs.

What it brings you....
reduce warehousing costs
reduce your transport costs
If you already know the product, quantity, and delivery schedule for a specific project (as we do), you can ship in full truckloads or as efficiently as possible to our Q-Hub. We will handle the delivery in combined packages, if needed, on the required time and date for the project, including emission-free options where necessary.
This allows you to reduce your own warehouse capacity to as close to zero as possible and benefit from our combined space at a lower cost.
The larger your shipment, the greater your benefit. With access to 15,000 carriers* for your shipment, you'll receive quotes and can choose the lowest price. This process can be automated, contracted, or customized to your preferences. As more shipments (with our known availability of their in space and route) go to construction hubs, you’ll always find an efficient, lower-cost option. Additionally, carriers benefit from higher combined freight volumes.
Our shippers portal provides real-time access to stock, deliveries, and live tracking, and can be seamlessly integrated with your order system.
We offer connections to 15,000 vetted carriers across Europe, as well as overseas shipping, including container and air deliveries from all continents.

optimised delivery
By warehousing near the building site, you can optimize transportation efficiency. Additionally, you can store products for smaller deliveries in nearby locations, allowing us to combine deliveries to the same site and reduce costs.
We also provide additional services to further optimise transport, such as combining products, adding assembly, and more.

your clients will demand this way of working
Building companies are required to deliver CO2 reports, and they will pass this regulation on to you. We can provide the logistics portion of these reports, having a comprehensive view of the entire supply chain. Additionally, these companies must comply with emission-free deliveries within city centers when tendering. If you cannot meet these requirements, you will not be the supplier of choice.
fully integrated with e.g. your order system
During this process our Q-platform will give all stakeholders:
